Bronx is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Bronx follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I do like this playground. Itβs clean for the most part and well kept. But the kind of people that walk thru here have no respect for the grounds. You got them letting their dogs lick and drink from the water fountain that kids drink of out. Have some decency to bring a bowl with you to water your dog. And they are off leash. And also thereβs a crowd of people smoking near the playground. Grantedβ¦.You can smoke. Whateverβ¦but why you have to make kids smell that garbage? Smoke anywhere else. No decency.

I enjoy spending time at the park, but the restroom facilities close earlier than expected, which can be inconvenient. Additionally, some staff members have displayed unnecessary rudeness, which detracts from the overall experience. Aside from these concerns, Crotona remains a pleasant and enjoyable park to visit.

South Bronx heavyweight. Massive park with a little bit of everything. Indian Lake is peaceful, good for just sitting. The WPA pool is iconicβhuge, landmark building, gets packed. Tennis courts, baseball fields, hills for sledding in winter. Clean enough, bathrooms hit or miss. Some edges feel sketchy but the core is solid. Real neighborhood hub.

This park sounds like COVID but it actually is quite large with lots of lawn space, some hills, some events like a hip hop jam was here. They also have tennis courts, soccer field, a little pond or lake to lounge by and plenty of space for activities like grilling or l and whatnot. Nice park in the Bronx.

Great outdoor space, plenty of places to sit without lugging lawn or fold up chairs. Grilling space and picnic tables. Theres a playground and a water "fountain" to run through on hot days. Family friendly. Wonderful out door venue for music events esp SUMMER JAM concert series.
